An Insect, A Totem, An Inspiration for Jewelry
Papillon - noun- [French- pA-pee-yawN
1.)    French, meaning butterfly.
2.)    Someone brilliant, versatile and inconstant.
Butterflies have always been one of my animal totems. They flutter around me when I make big life choices and whisper to me saying that I am on the right path. The day I quit my job, which enabled me to fully commit to my jewelry-making practice, there was a butterfly on my boss’s window. The butterfly, staring straight at me, let me know the path was clear. Sometimes, I imagine that I am a butterfly, morphing from one phase of my life to the next: they remind me to accept change with grace and eloquence. I realize that the journey is my only guarantee. Consequently, I always try to accept the change as it comes and emerge from my transitions brightly.

Ever evolving, they are vibrant, constantly on the move, and swiftly swaying through life with a gentle dynamic. Just like butterflies, my jewelry will be vivid and colorful and manifesting in new ways: no two pieces are ever the same.  I will continue to develop my skill and craft to incorporate precious gems and metals, creating custom pieces for you to enjoy.
Protecting Nature
Nature and travel are what inspire me the most. Every collection speaks to a piece of the world that I cherish. The outdoors is our safe place and I want to protect it, so every box, envelope, label or piece of paper is eco-friendly or a recycled product. The crinkle paper, tape and hemp that ties it all together is biodegradable.  The small bags are made in Nepal, using recycled sari silk.
